“Across the room he saw her step onto the dance floor with a light that gave him an understanding of the transcendental and elusive nature of what some call aura. He saw that light and understood that his love just walked into the room as well as his heart.
From there Kevin invited Jacqueline to many more of life’s dances. He knew he was dancing with his soulmate and allowed things to unfold like the flowers unfurling to the morning light. They danced on and off the floor and found each other again and again.
In February, Kevin held Jacqueline’s hand twirling her from Austin to New York where they have been building a life together, with a new family, in the quaint Hudson River town of Croton.

“All my friends and family have always known me as a free-spirited gypsy, dancing to the beat of my own drum. While I still embody those free-spirited qualities, I now feel more grounded in a loving home, with my soulmate by my side, traveling the world together.
When I first saw Kevin on the dance floor at Kripalu, I couldn’t help but wonder, Who is this guy? I had fun being flirtatious and playful with him, but I was cautious not to get too caught up in imagining a future, as my mind tends to run wild with possibilities. Once he broke the ice and we started talking, my initial attraction deepened even more.
Wow, this is a real man. I was blown away by the fact that he was a principal in Manhattan and led retreats for other principals, holding space for their growth and healing. A man who is spiritual and grounded in the world? This exists??
After we exchanged contact info, Kevin sent me a voice message sharing that he felt a spark between us, and I lit up hearing it. I quickly replied to say I felt the same way, but then... nothing. Two weeks went by, and I had this strong intuition that I needed to reach out again. When I did, he called me immediately, explaining that he had never received my message! If I hadn’t listened to that little voice in my head, technology might have derailed our future together.
From there, our lives went on their own twists and turns, yet spirit eventually guided us back to each other—this time, full force. It became undeniably clear that this was the man God had chosen for me. I am the luckiest woman in the world and so excited to start this new chapter in life with my New Yorker by my side, his two incredible kids, and a fresh beginning.”
